Long odd one with blue lines

Sometimes I wonder and I just go ahead and make the book.

For this exercise, I found that stripes is not a good idea when you are handmaking a book because it is so hard to get them aligned perfectly.

Better slant them next time.

Cloth on hardcover boards, with black paper and silvery endpaper. Coptic binding with Irish linen thread.

Doesn’t this pattern resembles the other “Peacock Vines” book I made? They were made months apart. But the colours are almost identical.

 

This book is A4 in height but half the width.
