Japanese tie-dye paper

Paper from a stationery shop in Kyoto. These are very common in Japan, but I think they are as lovely as any. Four seasons a set.

Kyoto, Japan – That’s where these papers are from. On a rainy night, after a box dinner from the 7 Eleven, I took a walk around a block on Karasuma Road to the only shop still with its lights on.

A stationery shop!

And got these lovely paper.

But I think I should have used a white, instead of grey, board, because the paper are so thin the grey from underneath is dulling the colours. Oh well – lesson learnt.
