I am totally charmed by this paper when I used it at a bookbinding class. And discovered later I could buy it from the owner who used to operate a paper shop at Bras Basah in Singapore that has since closed. So I got this, a long with a few others, from his little office outside of town, pulled from stacks and stacks of beautiful papers, all handmade in India.
They are handmade, so are sort of irregular. But that‘s the charm. Kind of like the books I made. A little authenticity is nice.
This book is in my regular format: A6 size, 96 pages, Indian handmade paper, hardcover, green cotton thread, Coptic-binding, handmade.
I like this pattern so much, I must make another one later.
